◎比賽辦法：
1.本大賽鼓勵喜好音樂之學生及社會人士，個人或團體踴躍報名參賽，不分國籍及年齡。
2.比賽一律直接決賽，大賽為讓參賽者即早練習準備並充分發揮自己的專技，所有各項樂器之比賽項目均只需演奏自選曲目，沒有指定曲目，比賽時需背譜彈奏（室內樂組、合唱及絲竹樂國樂合奏除外），主辦單位有權決定增減或中斷演奏時間，彈奏時間長短不會影響比賽成績分數之高低。
3.為讓同學有進步與學習的空間，請特別留意：自選曲不得與自己前屆參賽曲目重複，若經檢舉並查證屬實不列入得獎名次。
4.比賽出場順序，是依電腦亂數抽籤方式處理之，參賽者不得異議。
5.參賽者請依出場順序依序出賽，唱名三次不到以棄權論。若有不可抗拒之因素而過號之參賽者，於該組比賽結束前到達會場，本大賽將特予安排以表演賽的方式出場，但評審將不予以計分。本大賽主辦單位保留更換場次賽程時間以及出場順序的權利，參賽者不得異議，敬請配合。
◎獎勵辦法：
1. 為提昇學校音樂教育水準及普遍化，鼓勵每位同學至少學會演奏一項樂器，每校至少擁有一樂團，因此凡參加報名並如期參加比賽之同學，個人組均可獲得威爾第紀念譜袋壹件及礦泉水一瓶，團體組每組以贈送紀念譜袋四份以內為原則，敬請踴躍報名參賽。本屆凡有報名參賽者，均可獲得臺南市賴清德市長頒贈獎狀一張，以茲鼓勵。
2. 為提昇同學們學習樂器興趣，本大賽將各項目各組之名次及獎牌，每組依參賽人數多寡得錄取第一至第十名，特優（90分以上）、優等（85-89分）、甲等（80-84分以上）各若干名，參賽人數10人以內得取第一至第三名，每增加5人多取一名，亦即如20人得取至第五名，45人得取至第十名，但如該組參賽人數只有1人，只給等第，如參賽人數2-4人以內，成績未達85分以上，則第一至第三名亦得從缺，意即評列名次者之成績，最低必須達到優等85分以上之水準，方得錄取。此乃是要維持【大臺南國際音樂大賽】之水準，敬請配合。
3. 本大賽名次錄取之規則，如下列表格：

※請注意：為維持本大賽之水準，分數未達85分者，均只列等第，不予列入名次。
4. 今年不擬另行舉辦頒獎典禮暨音樂會，第一名至第十名將獲贈 琉璃原木精緻獎牌，因此得獎同學請務必至報到處當場領取獎牌『至於獎牌上之銘板將特別再鑲冠得獎者姓名、比賽項目及名次，但要等比賽結束30天內製作後再以掛號郵件郵寄至家裡自行黏貼』及獎狀各一份，優等獲贈獎品及獎狀各一份，甲等獲贈獎狀一張。獎牌及獎品一律於比賽現場頒贈領取，事後恕不寄送。如要寄送，宅急便費用請自付。但獎狀可寄送至獲獎者就讀學校，得呈請校方另行表揚，但請務必詳細填寫就讀學校名稱、地址及班級以免遺漏，同一項目獎項不重複。
5. 本大賽特設「跳級特別榮譽獎」，凡曾經榮獲本大賽該樂器項目第一名同學，希望能跳級參賽，為的是要讓更多同年級其他同學也有獲獎之機會，頒發此特別獎以資鼓勵禮讓與感謝。
6. 為鼓勵更多音樂愛好者踴躍參賽，本大賽今年特別增設成人組，凡五專四五年級、大學、研究所學生及社會人士，皆可參賽不分音樂班與非音樂班組，歡迎踴躍報名。
7. 為感謝各位指導老師平日犠牲奉獻，致力於音樂教育工作，鼓勵學生勇於參賽，呈請臺南市賴清德市長特頒感謝狀一張，聊表敬意與謝意，但請網路線上報名標示指導老師姓名、學生姓名及寄送地點及聯絡電話，每年每位老師只以一張為限，以便呈報市政府寄送，歡迎集體報名，另有優待。
8. 音樂大賽地點時間或其他有關事宜如有變更，將另於本大賽網頁公告通知，敬請隨時注意瀏覽。
◎報名方式：
1. 為提供參賽者更完整的服務以及相關資訊取得的便利性，本大賽今年開始採取網路線上報名方式，所有報名程序、比賽辦法、注意事項、賽程表以及秩序冊的下載，都將詳列於網站上。詳情請上大臺南國際音樂大賽，

3. 比賽兩週前，主辦單位將依照報名資料寄送參賽證，至於賽程及出場順序時間地點請自行上大賽網站查詢並下載參賽相關資料，參賽者請務必於比賽當日攜帶參賽證至報到處報到，並於出賽時佩帶上場。未帶參賽證之參賽者，恕不准予上場參賽，敬請配合。若於比賽日期一週前還未收到參賽證，請務必馬上來電通知主辦單位。
4. 為方便作業並鼓勵就讀學校、音樂班指導老師集體報名，凡個人獨奏每滿20人次（團體組包括四手聯彈、鋼琴與器樂二重奏、鋼琴三、四、五重奏、銅管五重奏、木管五重奏、齊奏、絲竹樂國樂合奏、合唱皆以2人次計費）集體報名者，其中1人次得免費優待（即20人次只收19人次費用）等完成報名後將另行郵寄退還1人次費用。
5. 參加團體組者，得擇一參賽者為該組代表，但每位均需填寫個別報名表（合唱及絲竹國樂合奏除外），隊名得以學校名為代表或自選命名皆可。
6. 參加合唱及室內樂組別之參賽者請特別注意：合唱組報名人數以7~40人(包含指揮及伴奏各一人)絲竹室內樂3~16人、國樂合奏17~40人，但請依參加組別據實填寫每人姓名、出生年月日。鋼琴與器樂二重奏組之自選曲需任選器樂奏鳴曲之一快板樂章，不限樂派。
報名費：獨奏組每人次新台幣壹仟捌佰元或USD60元(限國外參賽者)整，團體組每組次新台幣參仟陸佰元或USD120元(限國外參賽者)整(包括中國人壽團體意外保險)，參賽者每人次贈送威爾第紀念譜袋壹件，團體組每組次以送四件以內為原則。
7. 報名經受理後，不得以何任理由變更曲目，且不得申請退出或退費，屆時如未準時參賽者，視為自動棄權論，如有異議者，請勿報名參加，謝謝您的合作。
◎報名表填寫注意事項：
1. 本大賽採誠信原則，報名時不必繳交任何證明及照片，如資料填報不實且經查証屬實者，一律取消參賽及已獲獎之資格及獎項，不得異議。
2. 本大賽為求公平起見，除直笛獨奏、直笛四重奏、小提琴齊奏、鋼琴四手聯彈、鋼琴二,三,四,五重奏、弦樂四重奏、銅管五重奏、木管五重奏及絲竹國樂合奏外，其餘高中職以下組別(不包括成人組)各樂器比賽項目都有分A組音樂班（1.依教育部或縣市政府核定之藝術才能音樂及音樂實驗班同學屬之，2. 專科之五專、七年一貫一至三年級音樂科系同學屬高中職。）及B組非音樂班，請務必確實填寫，且名額不遞補。請注意＊Ａ組音樂班不得報名Ｂ組非音樂班，Ｂ組非音樂班得以報名Ａ組音樂班。
3. 學生可同時報名各種樂器項目，但必須分開報名，並註明另有參加其他組別，以便安排錯開比賽時間，齊奏組4人及四手聯彈、二、三、四、五重奏除每人須填寫一份報名表外，須另填一份團體報名表同意書，絲竹樂國樂合奏、合唱每隊只填一份團體報名表包括團員姓名、出生年月日。
4. 演奏曲目應與報名表填寫曲目一致，報名後不得以任何理由要求變更，請參賽者審慎選曲。自選曲目，如有涉及著作權法（版權所有）參賽者應自行負責。
5. 為配合參賽組別賽程，凡各組參賽人數少於10位或隊數少於10隊以下，將併組評審。
6. 報名時間：自民國102年1月4日起至1月23日截止，逾期不理，敬請注意配合。
◎注意事項：
1. 參賽者演出時之錄音、錄影之版權屬主辦單位，參賽者不得異議，比賽現場得拍照及攝錄影，但只限參賽者本身演出時，並限制在座位上且不得使用閃光燈。違規者若經檢舉，將被請離比賽現場，且自行負法律責任，比賽場所周圍嚴禁喧嘩、吵鬧、練習及調音，敬請配合。
2. 本音樂大賽特別禮聘各大學院校中外籍專業音樂教授及知名樂團資深演奏家數十位擔任評審，成績計算均依國際標準比賽評分規則（最高與最低成績不計），各組比賽完畢後現場即公佈成績，今年不擬另行舉辦頒獎典禮暨音樂會，得獎同學請務必至報到處當場領取獎牌及獎品，並請現場索取名師評審親筆書寫評語，為尊重評審之專業看法，對於評語內容及分數高低，不得抗議。
3. 為爭取時效性，本大賽若有臨時增加及變更應注意或規定事項，包括比賽當天天候不佳、天然災變或其他突發事件等…….，活動得更動或延期舉辦，本大賽將即時在網站上刊登佈告。

◎Competition Approaches：
1. Every music lover is welcome to participate in this competition regardless of the age, nationality, occupation, individual or in group.
2. This competition is a direct final contest. In order for each participant to get ready early and give full play to his professional skill, there is no specific repertoire but self-chosen one for every musical instrument in the competition. Please note that the self-chosen repertoire must be played by memory. (chamber music groups, chorus, and string and wind music ensemble excluded). The organizer reserves the right to increase or decrease or interrupt the playing time. The length of playing time will not affect the score.
◎Applications：
1. In order to provide participants a complete service and easy obtaining of information, the application this year will use online registration. For more details please visit our website at http://www.cheer100.com.tw & http://www.cheer100music.com and download the application procedures, competition approaches, notices, schedule and program brochure.
2. Application procedures include basic personal information, participating group, and self-chosen repertoire, etc. After completing the required information, please select your payment method, and print the confirmation page (with registration number, please save it for future inquiry). Application procedures are completed when your payment is done. 3. Two weeks before the competition, the organizer will send out the Participating ID together with the relevant information regarding to the registration information. The participants are required to bring the Participating ID to the registration desk on the day of competition. Participants without a Participating ID are not allowed to play in the competition. Please notify the organizer immediately if you do not receive the Participating ID a week before the competition.
Special attention for the participants in Choral, Violin Ensemble, and Chinese Music Ensemble and Orchestra groups: there should be 20 ~ 40 members in a choral group (including a conductor and an accompanist), 4 members in a Violin Ensemble, 3~16 members in a Chinese Music Chamber Ensemble (Shi-Tzu Music), and 17~40 members in a Chinese Music Chamber Orchestra.
4. Please fill in the exact names and date of birth of the participants in each group. Note: The self-chosen repertoire for piano and instrumental duet should be a fast movement from any instrumental sonatas of any musical period.
5. Registration Fee: For solo per person NT$1,800 or US$60 (foreign participants). For groups each group NT$3,600 or US$120 (foreign groups) ( including China Life Group Personal Accident Insurance). Each participant will get one Verdi commemorative notations bag and each group will get up to four bags. (If the registration fee is paid in the post office cash bag, please send it by registered mail. If it is paid with the postal money order, please put “台南市音樂協會” as the Payee for avoiding losing.).
※If the registration fee is paid in the post office cash bag, make sure to have it arrived before January 23, and indicate on the envelope: "Registration for 2013 Cheer Taiwan Music Competition ".

6. When a registration is confirmed, there may not be any strong reason to change the repertoire or apply to withdraw or refund. If the participants do not show up on time on the day of competition, they are considered a forfeit. If do not agree to these terms, please do not register for competition. Thank you for your cooperation.
◎Notes on filling the Registration Form:
1. This competition is based on the principle of good faith, and do not ask for any proof and photos in registration. If it is verified that any information on the application form is not true, the participant will be disqualified without warning and asked to leave the event without refund.
2. For the sake of fairness, with the exception of Recorder Solo/ Recorder Quartet/Violin Ensemble/piano four-hand playing/piano deut, trio, quartet, quintet/string quartet/brass quintet/ wood wind quintet/string and wind ensemble, any group below the high school level (excluding the adult group) is classified into “Group A Music Major Class” and “Group B Non-Music Major Class” . Note: “Group A Music Major Class” may not register for” Group B Non-Music Major Class, “but ‘Group B Non-Music Major Class” may register for “Group A Music Major Class.”
3. Students can also register for multiple musical instruments, but it must be registered separately, and must be indicated that they also participate in other groups, so that the organizer can make appropriate arrangement of competition time for them. For violin ensemble, four-hand piano, and piano duet, trio, quartet, quintet, in addition to the application form for the group, each member is also asked to fill an individual application form. An application form for the group with its members’ names and dates of birth is required for the string and wind music ensemble and the chorus.
4. The repertoire performed at the competition must be the same as the one filled in the application form. The repertoire cannot be changed for any reasons once the registration is confirmed. For that reason, the participant should be very careful in selecting the repertoire. The participant is responsible for any self-chosen repertoire that involves with Copyright.
5. Registration time: January 4 ~ 23, 2013. Late applications will not be accepted.
◎ Notes:
1. The organizer reserves the right to own the copyright of any video recording of the participants’ performances in competition. Photographing and videotaping for the participant’s self performance are allowed, but should be taken when seated and with no flash.
2. Judges for this music competition are professional music professors in universities and experienced performers in well-known orchestras. The calculation of scores is subject to the scoring rules for standard international contests (the highest and lowest scores do not count). The results will be announced on site when the competition of each group is completed. There will be no other Awards Ceremony or concert this year. The award-winning students should go to the registration desk to get their medals and prizes. You can also ask for the comments from the judges. To show respect to the accreditation of professional views, protests on the comments and scores will not be accepted.
3. We will provide on our website http://www.cheer100.com.tw & http://www.cheer100music.com any updates and changes concerning this competition, including weather, or other emergencies on the competition day, which may cause delays or changes to the activities.
